I've always had a very difficult time focusing on meditation practices. When the meditation group was first instated, I have to say I wasn't one to want to try it. I am for the most part a solitary practitioner.
When I noticed one week there would be a candle meditation, I thought it would be worth a try since it is a great way to practice on the focusing part. A candle flame has amazing hypnotic powers that just make you go in a trance. The experience felt with the wonderful group heightened my perception of meditation and the visuals were impressive.
Ever since that one session, I find our group is getting better and stronger at visualization and focus. I highly recommend this group to all who wish to dip their toe in uncharted waters.
This is an event that is sure to grow as the weeks and I look forward to it every week!
